OMG! Did you hear "Them" Tony and Cappy this morning. They tried a new word game that was awful and then they had the bratty 3 year old reading Cheryl Crow lyrics. The first contestant didn't know ANY of the songs and the little girl sounded like a total BRAT! Oh well...please let us know if you find another suitable radio station. You've also inspired me to start a BLOG. THANKS!
Because I work-at-home with my baby, I don't get to listen to the radio very much anymore. Unless I'm on my way to a meeting early in the morning or on Thursdays when Baby Boy goes to daycare. Anyway, yesterday I turned it on MIX 102.9 like I always do, because like you, I'm a HUGE Julie fan! Have been for five years ever since I moved to Dallas. Followed her from the EDGE (which has SUCKED ASS since she left) to Mix. And now she's gone? She was the only good thing on Dallas radio! Guess it's time for me to buy an XM radio or Sirius, because GAAAA! Kidd Kraddick is ok and at times the show is mildly amusing. But I don't buy that Julie "just decided to pursue other opportunities." I was fired from a crappy ass job almost two years ago, and that's the line they fed my co-workers. Anyway, I was googling Julie Fisk to find out what happened to her and your blog came up. I'm with ya sistah!

Hey, I did a google search and found your blog. I too am a Julie Fisk fan. I first heard her on the Edge and I liked Jagger (cuz he's gay and all) but Julie really added something to the show. When she moved to 102.9, I followed, and was so glad that she was on.
Anyway, I e-mailed Tony and Cappy when she went missing, and I was told buy Cappy that her contract was up for renewal and it was not renewed, so that is why she is no longer on the show ... hope this help solve the morning mystery. I can forward you the e-mail (I should still have them) from them if you would like. Let me know.

Same deal - I loved Jagger and Julie on the Edge and followed her over to Mix 102.9. Cappy and Tony sound the SAME to me - it's hard to tell who's talking. I miss Julie - she was the only REAL chick on the morning radio. Now I'm stationless. 106.1 Kelly Rasberry gets on my nerves. It's kind of like when the Eagle went away. If Julie comes back, I want to know where.
